Shoreland Standards for Rivers Focus Group

CRJC is pleased to co-host a focus group to discuss separate river, lake and tidal waters standards for the Shoreland Water Quality Protection Act with Mascoma River Local Advisory Committee and New Hampshire Rivers Council.

The New Hampshire Rivers Council is working with regional hosts in New Hampshire to conduct focus sessions so that groups may learn about the current Shoreland Water Quality Protection Act (SWQPA), formerly the Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act, and discuss and form recommendations for river and tidal standards to the SWQPA. The New Hampshire Rivers Council will aggregate the input from the focus sessions and form recommendations for rules and legislation/draft legislation to revise the SWQPA.
